Environmental management

The main aim of the Marina de Albufeira is to guarantee the provision of a high-quality service to its customers, integrating its concern for the protection of the environment into its development strategy. This issue is particularly important in relation to the sea, a vital resource for future generations.

To this end, an environmental policy has been drawn up containing the following pledges:

To Prevent different types of pollution and reduce the impact on the environment associated with the activities of the marina;

To Ensure the rational use of water and energy resources and to promote appropriate waste-management strategies, especially recycling;

To Draw up, and review periodically, environmental objectives and procedures, promoting the continuous improvement of its environmental performance;

To Comply with the relevant environmental requirements as defined by current legislation and applicable updates, and other requirements to which this marina subscribes;

To Involve and educate staff and the community in general, sensitivities them to the importance of adopting good practices in terms of environmental protection.
